Ooo I did it again! I certainly did!  Twice winning the Golden Panty Seller of the Year for 2005 and 2006, then onto winning Lifetime Achievement for a further two years, for 2007 and now 2008 means I must be doing something right :).  Thank you to those that nominated me and those that voted for me.

The PantyHog online chat award was alot of fun. I switched on my cam for 5 minutes but I really wasn’t feeling very well and still looked very swollen and just not myself.  :(

Big thanks to PK at Panty Hog for having these great Awards, big kiss to Lady Anna who hosted this years Awards and also a big sloppy kiss for Serena who took the Golden Crown for 2008.

Thanks also to all those who attended the ceremony.  I really am sorry I wasn’t at my best - the previous years have gotten quite wild at the after party when I get going … but there is always next year…

Just a quick post to say everything went fine this morning. Got my cast off, which then started off some more bruising and swelling, hence a black and white pic .. a colour pic is just too … um … colourful LOL. I still have stacks of stitches up my nose though but they will evidently dissolve over time. Had the suction torture treatment too this morning but I had overdosed on pain killer beforehand so I handled it like a big girl :).  I don’t have to go back for 6 months! YAY!

I am still here guys but not up to spending long at the pc at the moment. I have to go every few days to have my sinuses and passages “hoovered” out which is so painful I cannot even begin to describe it. It feels more like torture and it even makes me cry it hurts so bad. Afterwards I am left with a blinding headache for 2-3 days and then its time for another “torture” session.

Tomorrow is the last day I have to go for my final check up and suction and I also get the cast off. I will be interested to see what shape my nose is this time - each time I always end up with a different one LOL.   “ooo new shoes Cindy?” .. “Nah new nose again” ….

I will do my utmost to be at the Panty Hog Awards on Sunday although I might not stay for the after party :)

Loads of love to you all and thank you again for all your lovely cards and gifts, really sweet, thank you.  For those who have asked about my son, he is ok but won’t know much about the results of the MRI until we go back in a couple of weeks.

Please note that on Tuesday I am going into hospital to have my septum widened and some reconstruction work to make my nose look a bit more normal. This is not for vain purposes, I had a bad riding accident about 17 years ago which left my nose flattened, the top half was over the left of my face and the bottom half was over my right.

Since then I have suffered no end of problems with it and have already had 3 operations to reconstruct it into a normal looking nose. Over the last year the septum has not only collapsed preventing me from breathing, it has grown through the bone making the skin on my nose look like it is permanently pinched into a wonky line.

I am not looking forward to this one, as the last one I went through 12 years ago was a bad one because of all the scar tissue from the previous ones.

Please keep me in your thoughts on Tuesday - I think the worst thing I ever did was watch the film “Awake” - so I hope that when they put me to sleep I am totally gone in cuckoo land.

On a side note thank you to those who have voted for me at the Panty Awards on Panty Hog. I will do my utmost to attend the Award Ceremony but I am not sure how black and blue I will be so I might not go on webcam.

Firstly, thank you all so much for your wonderful gifts, cards and cash that you have all sent me for Yule/Christmas. As a few of you know I have had a really challenging year with family illnesses which is one reason why I have been keeping myself in the shadows.  To know that I am still in all your thoughts means the world to me. I feel very spoilt and very happy :D. 

    
For those that don’t know what has been going on, my eldest son has a bone disease which the bone in his right elbow is disintegrating and crumbling. We are in and out of hospitals having x-rays and scans and sadly this disease must run its course before it gets better.  Once the bone starts to regrow then he will be left with a disability - how much of one, nobody knows and there is nothing anyone can do.  In all my spare time I have been giving him natural healing (I am a qualified spiritual healer) and he can now straighten his arm to 90 percent, whereas before it was only 60 percent. So although he may never make a full recovery I am certain that he will recover enough to lead a normal life.  However, only time will tell.

 
I was really honoured to be considered for this years Panty Hog Awards and I can’t thank you enough for thinking of me and I would feel so special to take Lifetime Achievement again for the 2nd year running but I will leave it up to you to choose who to vote for - you won’t be seeing me plug myself this year with any “Go CINDY” either - I shall leave it up to you to remember to vote.  This will also be my last year of entering though and I can’t deny it, it would be nice to go out with a bang :).  I still do a lot of work behind the scenes helping new sellers and advising newbie buyers on where and how to shop for genuine items… and of course looking after my wonderful guys… but I have to admit I have not been logging into Panty Hog as often as I used to due to other issues that I have just shared above.  I do check via RSS feed though every day, just in case anyone needs a back up against some of the twats we have had invading the scene this year LOL.. and as you can see I have been there in a shot to back up a fellow seller.

On another note I am not even sure I can attend the Award Ceremony as I will be in hospital on the 6th January having half my face rebuilt AGAIN!!!.  I had a bad riding accident about 17 years ago which left me “noseless”.  I have had 3 operations so far and each one has eventually failed.  Over the last few months my nose has been collapsing and it is at the stage that I can barely breathe through it anymore, so time for operation number 4.  I will do my utmost to be online for the Panty Hog Panty Awards, but I think it is best I do not go on webcam, or if I do I might wear a scarf over my face - I am sure I will look like something out of resident evil for a while afterwards and I really don’t want the awards to turn into a horror movie hehehe
  

So that is my year in a nutshell.  Much more has gone on, some good, some bad, some great and some shit but at the end of the day I am still HERE, still loving panties and still loving being a part of the panty community.

Life is so precious, true friends are rare and I feel so blessed that the best friends I have ever made in this life has been through running this site. I love you all.

Well this picture is a blast from the past eh?  I must have taken that a good 8 years ago when I started my very first website.  No, it wasn’t pantyparadise back then - pantyparadise was born a couple of years later and I ditched my original site looooong time ago :).

Anyway the point of this post is two things. Firstly I am being inundated with emails about this years Golden Panty Awards and also what I would like for Xmas/Yule.

Firstly GPAs.  I really do not feel comfortable with anyone nominating me for the crown of Golden Seller of the Year, I have taken a back seat in selling and have been exclusive for a good year now .. if anyone deserves to take the crown this year it is Serena.  Anna won it last year but Serena has been amazing moderating on Panty Hog but most of all, she is consistent, hard working, kind and honest. 

There is another Lifetime Achievement Award this year and I leave it completely up to you if you wish to nominate me.  This would be the only category I would accept though, so please don’t nominate me for anything else.  Please think long and hard about this though - remember that there are other long standing and panty world contributors, such as Anna, for example.  You can nominate using this FORM. Or visit Panty Hog directly.

Now onto Christmas/Yule.  Although I have a good stack of items on my wish list, I am actually saving up for something very personal and so this year I would appreciate money gift rather than an actual gift.  UK friends could kindly donate a gift directly into my account (but please say who you are on the details).  And my overseas friends, please could you buy a gift certificate from Amazon.co.uk.   I am not going to write publicly what I am saving up for but if you wish to know, email me and Ill be happy to divulge my secret.
